I have a family member that only uses Celine bags. No joke. however I can barely picture her slinging this Celine Tribute to Charley Harper cut Out carry over her shoulder. It’s so different than many of Celine’s bags: good leather that’s not as well soft, boxy shape, squat handles.
I like it, however I’m always drawn in to cutesy things- nobody can state that this bit bird on the front is not cute. However, I would never really wear it. however there is no rejecting its cuteness. I believe this does a great task as a tribute to the late modernist artist Charley Harper, though if it was as much as me I’d like to see something a bit less front as well as center- integrated with a adorable lining that featured his prints. Nevertheless, the bird deal with fits the artist’s style to a T.
That said, I’m a huge fan of resin chain straps instead of metal chain straps (it doesn’t get chilly like metal!), particularly chunky black ones like this. fortunately it is removable, though, since this bag would look a great deal nicer, as well as less overwhelmed with detail, as a carry instead of a tote-with-a-long-strap. purchase with Bloomingdales on sale for $1,085.
