Kate In Dolce and Gabbana for Wimbledon Men’s final

Kate went with a vibrant yellow dress at Wimbledon today.

The Duke and Duchess were at the All England lawn Tennis & Croquet Club for the Gentlemen’s Singles Final.

Before the match, they met former champions, including Rod Laver.

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic was taking on Kevin Anderson of South Africa.

Below you see Kate and William with Prime minister Theresa May.

Another look.

She always seems to have a terrific time at the event.

As ever, Kate’s expressions during Wimbledon are fun to watch.

And the couple looked like they really enjoyed watching the match.

The royal box was filled with notable names, including PR executive Hannah Bagshawe and her husband, Eddie Redmayne.

Actor Hugh grant speaking with Ms. Bagshawe.

From left to right, Saadiya Khan, wife of London Mayor Sadiq Khan; the mayor; the Duke of Kent, with his back to the camera.

Benedict Cumberbatch.

Emma Watson and Luke Evans. Seated behind Mr. Evans (with the water bottle), Tom Holland, possibly best known for his roles in the Spiderman movies.

Behind Prince William, actor Tom Hiddleston.

Katherine Jenkins and her husband, actor/artist Andrew Levitas.

Not everyone was able to watch from Centre Court; these are some of the spectators on the hill enjoying the match on the big screen.

The line umpires arrive at Centre Court.

It was another warm and humid day.

The ball Girls and ball Boys.

The temperature was 85° when the match started.

And both players were coming off brutal semi-finals matches. much more from ESPN:

Djokovic and Anderson won the two longest semifinals in Wimbledon history to get to Sunday’s title match. Anderson played for much more than 6½ hours before edging John Isner 26-24 in the fifth set Friday. Djokovic needed 5 hours, 15 minutes to get past Rafael Nadal in a match that ended Saturday.

Mr. Djokovic was the victor.

A quick video.

The reaction from Jelena Djokovic, wife of the champion (in white), and the couple’s son, Stefan.

It was his fourth Wimbledon title and thirteenth Grand Slam victory. It’s challenging to see, but the Duke of Kent is just to the left of Mr. Djokovic, after presenting him with the trophy. The president of the AELTC presents the trophies; the Duke is president.

Here is a 1:30 video with Kate and William congratulating the champion.

Now for what Kate wore, a knee-length fitted dress from Dolce and Gabbana.

It is from the brand’s resort 2017 collection. Made in a rayon/acetate crepe, it features a fitted bodice, round neckline, concealed back zipper and ruffled sleeves. As of 11 am, it is only available at YOOX in a US size 4 ($1050). Below, a look at the dress from the back.  once again, our thanks to Michelle of Perths Fashion for sharing the dress information!

Kate carried the handbag seen yesterday, the miss Sicily style.

It remains available at My Theresa ($1695) as well as at SSense ($1695).

In the photo of Kate from the back, you can see she is also carrying what appears to be a vinyl cosmetic case or pouch. The color looks like it could be Wimbledon’s purple; it may be something given to guests.

UPDATE: There are a few photos that show Kate’s feet, and it looks like she did wear the Gianvito Rossi pumps in ‘praline’ suede ($675) seen yesterday. (We show them in a photo from yesterday’s match.) They are available at Saks in a so-so mix of sizes, and also at My Theresa, where there is a very limited selection of sizes ($675). UPDATE 2: It does not look like Kate was wearing the Praline pumps, but a nude point-toe shoe that we can’t identify. NOTE: The consensus in comments is that Kate was *not* wearing the Rossis. here is a video Middleton Maven discovered that shows Kate’s feet.

It looks like the Duchess wore the sunglasses we first saw yesterday.

They are the Ray-Ban new Rubber Youngster style in gradient brown. The frame practically looks black in some photos, but when lightened you can see the brown color variations in the matte rubber frame.

It looks like the style is still available at Amazon ($143), but sold out at Shopbop.

Kate wore a necklace not seen for some time, the three pieces from the Asprey Woodland Charms collection.

It looked like she had on a new (to us) pair of earrings.

The ever-savvy Michelle wonders if they might also be from Asprey. UPDATE #1: Michelle thinks it’s possible the earrings are the same design as this Oak leaf Bracelet from Asprey.  UPDATE #2: Michelle’s theory was spot-on, Asprey confirms Kate was wearing their earrings. thank you to KatiesRoyalLoveon Twitter for sharing the confirmation.

UPDATE #3 JULY 21: It turns out Kate was wearing the Asprey Oak leaf small Hoop Earrings ($6450). The earrings are 18K yellow gold with pavé diamonds; they are now available on the jeweler’s site.

The Duchess wore the citrine cocktail ring most recently seen at Meghan and Harry’s wedding. thank heaven Sara mentioned the ring on Twitter and Maryrose sent a DM on Facebook or I might have completely overlooked it.

Kate had on her Cartier Ballon Bleu stainless steel wristwatch.

She also wore the purple/green members’ ribbon that the 375 members of the AELTC may wear. (If you scroll up and look at the photo of Kate in sunglasses, you’ll see Rod Laver’s tie is in the Wimbledon colors.)

We’ll see you in a few days with a new post!
